Fried green tomatoes and bats

Tonight, we enjoyed some down-home southern cookin' at Threadgill's, where chicken-fried everything is on the menu and won't be denied. Then we dropped by the Convention Center to pick up our badges, and walked gingerly over the Congress Ave Bridge for fear of being attacked by bats. We emerged unbitten.
